One of Bangladesh’s leading private airlines, US-Bangla Airlines, has taken the effort to help deserving students become pilots at its own expense.
Those with a GPA of 5 in SSC and HSC science subjects, including Mathematics and Physics, or a Grade-B in at least two subjects (Mathematics and Physics) at this level will be allowed to apply, according to a media statement released on Thursday.
This opportunity is also open to graduates with a science background from any reputable university. Applicants must be at least 25 years old and stand at least 5 feet 4 inches tall. The selection process would be conducted with the Bangladesh Air Force’s assistance and oversight, according to the announcement.
In the beginning, 50 candidates will be chosen from those who have completed preliminary tests such as IQ, writing, and oral. At the expense of US-Bangla Airlines, the selected candidates will be sent to the world-renowned Flying Academy. After completing two years of training, pilots will be eligible to join US-Bangla Airlines.
